What to Expect
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Commence 4 days desert tours from the red city of Marrakech by a pickup from Marrakech airport/accommodation. Wonderful views you will see Wonderful views you will see while driving to Ouarzazate. We cannot proceed without having a stop at the largest and best Kasbah in Morocco “Ait Ben Haddou”. Though it is an ancient Palace, it still stand till now. Even some families still live there. In 1987; this beautiful Kasbah was listed in the UNESCO world Heritage spots thanks to its impressive architecture and history. Finally, Ouarzazate is the city where to spend the night in a local Kasbah/Riad/Hotel.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges
After breakfast, it is a chance to discover Ouarzazate impressive spots. Studios of movies in Ouarzazate mark the large role this city plays as a filming site especially for American Historical movies such as Gladiator. We’ll also see the ancient Kasbah of Taourirt. Then, continue to visit “Todra” Gorges which are one of the most impressive milestone river canyons you ever seen before. Enjoy and relax by a lovely walk at the gorges where we will stay one night there.
Day 3: Todra Gorges – Merzouga – ERG CHEBBI camp
You will wake up at the most impressive beauty nature can offer. So, enjoy your moment at the Gorges while taking photos of the place. Now that we finish exploring Todra Gorges; we’ll continue to Merzouga. Have a break and pick some materials to help you spend an interesting night at ERG CHEBBI reserved camp.
Proceed while camel trekking in the sand dunes to the desert camp which is equipped with baths and traditional yurts. Enjoy the sound of the music and take your dinner under the bright stars.
Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt – Azrou – Ifran – Fes
After a fresh shower and a delicious breakfast, we’ll take the road straight to Midelt town driving south from Mezrouga. Then, continue to Fes along the highest Atlas Mountains. As we will make several stops to visit some of the middle atlas cities. The stops will include a visit to Ifran city and then exploring Azrou Cedar forest where to feed Barbary Monkeys. Arrive to FES and then pick up to the Airport.
