What to Expect
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Camp
Commence 4 days fes to marrakech desert tour by a pickup from Fes airport/accommodation.
Along the Middle Atlas Mountains, we will begin driving in the early morning to Merzouga. As we will make several stops to visit some of the middle atlas cities. The stops will include a visit to Ifran city and then exploring Azrou Cedar forest where to feed Barbary Monkeys. Arrive at Merzouga in the late afternoon and then put your luggage to spend the night in an exotic Kasbah.
Have a break and pick some materials to help you spend an interesting night at ERG CHEBBI reserved camp.
Proceed while camel trekking in the sand dunes to the desert camp which is equipped with baths and traditional yurts. Enjoy the sound of the music and take your dinner under the bright stars.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges
After a fresh shower and a delicious breakfast, we’ll take the road straight to Todra Gorges. “Todra” Gorges are one of the most impressive milestone river canyons you ever have seen before. Enjoy and relax by a lovely walk at the gorges where we will stay one night there.
Day 3: Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
You will wake up at the most impressive beauty nature can offer. So, enjoy your moment at the Gorges while taking photos of the place. Now that we finish exploring Todra Gorges; we’ll continue to Ouarzazate to reach Ait Ben Haddou. We will discover Ouarzazate impressive spots. Studios of movies in Ouarzazate mark the large role this city plays as a filming site especially for American Historical movies such as Gladiator. We’ll also see the ancient Kasbah of Taourirt. Then, continue to Marrakech via Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. We cannot proceed without having a stop at the largest and best Kasbah in Morocco “Ait Ben Haddou”. Though it is an ancient Palace, it still stands until now. Even some families still live there. In 1987; this beautiful Kasbah has listed in the UNESCO world Heritage spots thanks to its impressive architecture and history. Finally, spend the night in a local Kasbah.
Day 4: Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Get back at Marrakech at the end of the day after fully explore Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
